The night of February 12 and the day of February 13, 2021, Dallas experienced a sever freezing rain storm that blanketed the city with 1/4 to 1/2 inches of ice. The event caused wide spread power outages that lasted from 1 to 5 days. Here you can see the damage done to the arboretum.
